Security Approved by China State
Bureau of Technical Supervision (CSBTS) and Ministry
of Public Security in 1987, National Center for Quality
Supervision and Testing of Fire Building Materials (NFTC)
is authorized as a national supervision and testing
agency for quality of fire building materials. Being
a third party notary agency,NFTC
carries out the testing of various fire building components
(elements) and fire retardant coatings and testing of
classification on burning behavior for building materials.
All products listed by NFTC
are
included in our published directory.
NFTC
acquired the metrological certification as well as laboratory
and metrological recertification by CSBTS respectively
in 1990 and in 1993. In 1998, it also acquired the comprehensive
recertification including laboratory accreditation (according
to ISO/IEC Guide 25), metrological certification and
center registration organized by CSBTS and China National
Accreditation Committee for Laboratories.
NFTC
comprises 5 departments, including technical management
dept., technical development dept., fire building material
testing dept., fire-resistant building component/element
testing dept. and fire retardant coating testing dept..
In
addition, NFTC
is engaged in the formulation of relevant national and
industrial standards (GB, GA) of fire protection materials
and burning behavior of building materials and in the
development of testing technology and testing apparatus.
NFTC
offers follow-up service to manufactures to ensure that
the certified or approved products are in accordance
with the applicable certificates and their quality stability
is maintained.
As a national testing center, NFTC
puts a special emphasis on scientific testing, just
assessment, warm service and perpetual development.
